Seramik Sektörü Ortak Tan›t›m ‹flbirli¤i Projesi Koordinasyon Kurulu kararlar› do¤rultusunda, D›fl Ticaret Müsteflarl›¤›, Orta Anadolu ‹hracatç› Birlikleri Genel Sekreterli¤i, Seramik Federasyonu ve özel sektör temsilcilerinden oluflan “Seramik Ortak Tan›t›m Komitesi” faaliyetleri çerçevesinde ilk kez kat›l›nan fuarda inflaat sektöründe faaliyet gösteren 38 Türk firmas› yer ald›. Bulgaristan, Almanya, Türkiye, Yunanistan, ‹ngiltere, Avusturya, Makedonya, Macaristan ve S›rbistan’›n kat›ld›¤› fuarda her türlü yap› malzemeleri, pencere ve kap›lar, ›s›tma ve so¤utma sistemleri, raf sistemleri, elektrik malzemeleri, kablolar, izolasyon malzemeleri, yer kaplamalar›, boyalar, seramikler, ev-ofis-bahçe mobilyalar›, a¤aç iflleme makine ve ekipmanlar›, her türlü nakil ekipmanlar›, hal› ve perdeler, ev tekstilleri, plastikler, mutfak malzemeleri, dekorasyon malzemeleri, ayd›nlatma araç ve ekipmanlar›, asansör ve ekipmanlar›, her türlü yap› ve ifl makineleri, yap› kimyasallar›, mühendislik hizmetleri sergilendi. 13.000 m2 lik alanda, 4 hol, 1 çad›r ve aç›k alanda düzenlenen fuara, Türk Seramik Birlikleri 48 62

7th International Specialised Exhibition Bulgaria Building Week was held in Sofia, Bulgaria from March 13 to March 17, 2007. Thirty-eight Turkish firms engaged in the construction industry took part at the Trade Fair participated for the first time as part of “Ceramic Joint Promotion Committee” comprising representatives of Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, Central Anatolian Exporters Union General Secretariat, Ceramics Federation and the private sector in line with the resolutions of Ceramics Industry Joint Promotions Collaboration Project Coordination Board. All types of building materials, windows, doors, heating and cooling systems, shaft systems, electrical supplies, cables, insulation materials, floor tiles, paints, ceramic ware, home, office, garden furniture, wood processing machinery and equipment, all types of vehicles, carpets and drapery, home textiles, plastic ware, kitchen ware, decoration materials, lighting fixtures and equipment, elevators and equipment, building and construction machinery, building chemicals and engineering services were on display at the fair participated by Bulgaria, Germany, Turkey, Greece, England, Austria, Macedonia, Hungary and Serbia. Turkish Ceramics Associations took part together with 13 Turkish firms in the modern tent installed due to lack of space with a 48 m2 info stand at the trade fair organized in 4 halls,

m2’lik bir info stand ile, alan yetersizli¤i sebebi ile kurulan modern çad›rda 13 Türk firmas› ile beraber yer ald›. Stand zemini, Yüksel Seramik firmas›n›n seramikleri ile kaplan›rken, standda Vitra ve Çanakc›lar Seramik firmalar›n›n vitrifiye ürünleri sergilendi. Firmalar›n kataloglar›n›n sergilenebilmesini teminen aç›k raf sistemli broflürlüklerin yer ald›¤› standda, seramik karo üretici firmalar›n ürünlerinden örnekler oluflturulan panolar da sergilendi. Fuar›n ilk gününde Bulgaristan Bay›nd›rl›k Bakan Yard›mc›s› Savin Kovaçev ve Fuar ‹daresi Yönetim Kurulu Baflkan› Ivan Ivanov, fuar›n üçüncü günü ise Türkiye’nin Sofya Büyükelçisi Mehmet Gücük ile Sofya Ticaret Müflaviri Çetin Y›lmaz stand› ziyaret etti. 2007 y›l› bafl›nda Avrupa Birli¤i’ne tam üye olan Bulgaristan’a, entegrasyon çal›flmalar› kapsam›nda kullan›lmak üzere, önümüzdeki üç y›l içerisinde, AB taraf›ndan 2.4 milyar Euro tahsis edilmifltir. Bulgaristan’›n AB’ye tam üyeli¤i ile beraber canlanmaya bafllayan inflaat sektörüne yabanc› yat›r›mlarda art›fl kaydetmifltir. Bulgaristan, Türkiye’nin 2006 y›l› seramik kaplama malzemeleri ihracat›nda onbirinci, seramik sa¤l›k gereçleri ihracat›nda yedinci s›rada yer almaktad›r. Geçmiflte yaflanan olumsuzluklar sebebi ile bir türlü istenilen düzeye ulaflamayan ihracat›m›z, iki ülke aras›nda yap›lan serbest ticaret anlaflmalar› ile olumlu yönde etkilenmeye bafllam›flt›r.

Panels formed from samples of ceramic tile producers were also exhibited at the stand which was equipped with open shelf system brochure holders to allow firm catalogs to be displayed. On the first day of the exhibition, Bulgaria Deputy Minister of Public Works Savin Kovaçev and Chairman of Trade Fair Board of Directors Ivan Ivanov visited the stand with Turkey’s Ambassador in Sofia, Mehmet Gücük and Sofia Trade Advisor Çetin Y›lmaz visiting the stand on the third day. EU allocated 2.4 billion Euros to Bulgaria which became a full member of European Union in 2007 to be used in the next three years as part of integration efforts. A rise was observed in foreign investment in the construction industry which started to be vitalized upon full membership of Bulgaria in EU. Bulgaria ranks eleventh in Turkey’s ceramic tile exports in year 2006 and ranks seventh in exports of ceramic sanitary ware. Our exports which never reached the desired levels due to adversities experienced in the past started to be affected positively by the free trade agreements entered into between the two countries.

Mosbuild 2007 “The 13th Moscow International Building and Interior Exhibition Mosbuild’’ Fuar› 3 - 6 Nisan 2007 tarihleri aras›nda Moskova / Rusya Federasyonu’nda düzenlendi. ‹ki ayr› fuar alan›nda düzenlenen fuar›n Expocentr at Krasnaya Presnya Fuar alan›nda; ‹nflaat Malzemeleri, Sa¤l›k Gereçleri ve Banyo Ekipmanlar›, Seramik Kaplama Malzemeleri, Do¤al Tafl ve Mermer, Seramik Endüstrisi ve Teknolojileri, Is›tma, So¤utma ve Havaland›rma Ekipmanlar›, Crocus Expo Fuar alan›nda ise; ‹ç Dizayn, Yer Kaplamalar›, Dekoratif Ev Tekstili ve Duvar Kaplamalar›, Cam ve D›fl Cephe Sistemleri sergilendi. 1500’ün üzerinde kat›l›mc›n›n yer ald›¤› Mosbuild 2007 Fuar›’na, seramik kaplama ve sa¤l›k gereçleri sektöründe; Rusya Federasyonu, ‹spanya, ‹talya, Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti, Polonya, ‹ngiltere, Almanya, Türkiye, Portekiz, Ukrayna, Çek Cumhuriyeti ve Finlandiya kat›lm›fl olup, bahse konu fuara özellikle Rusya Federasyonu, ‹spanya, ‹talya ve Almanya’n›n yan› s›ra Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti’nden firmalar›n yo¤un kat›l›m› dikkat çekti. Mosbuild 2007 Fuar›’na bu y›l en çok kat›l›m gösteren ülke 65 firma ile ‹talya oldu. 49 firma ile ‹spanya ikinci s›rada yer al›rken, 10 firma ile Almanya üçüncü s›rada, 7 firma ile Türkiye dördüncü s›rada yer ald›. Fuara, Seramik Sektörü Ortak Tan›t›m ‹flbirli¤i Projesi Koordinasyon Kurulu kararlar› do¤rultusunda, D›fl Ticaret Müsteflarl›¤›, Orta Anadolu ‹hracatç› Birlikleri Genel Sekreterli¤i, Seramik Federasyonu ve özel sektör temsilcilerinden oluflan “Seramik Tan›t›m Grubu” faaliyetleri çerçevesinde 37 m2’lik bir info stand ile 10. kez kat›l›m gerçeklefltirildi. Zemini Kale Seramik firmas›n›n yer seramikleri ile kaplanan, Ege Seramik, Serel Seramik ve Çanakç›lar Seramik firmalar›na ait klozet ve lavabo tak›mlar›n›n sergilendi¤i standda, fuar süresince gün boyu, Türk seramik kaplama malzemeleri ve sa¤l›k gereçleri üretimini, mevcut durumunu, tarihsel zenginli¤ini, teknolojik gücünü, dünya ticaretindeki konumunu anlatan ve ihracat potansiyelini vurgulayan Rusça seramik filmin gösterimi yap›ld›. Ayr›ca Türk Seramik Sektörü’nün tan›t›m›na yönelik haz›rlanan broflürler ile firmalar›n göndermifl oldu¤u broflürler stand ziyaretçilerine da¤›t›ld›. Stand ziyaretçilerinin bilgilerinin al›nabilmesini teminen Rusça stand ziyaretçi formu haz›rland› ve firmalar›n talepleri için söz konusu formlar› doldurmalar› sa¤land›. Standda ayr›ca 400 adet Turkish Ceramic Broflürü ve 150 adet Seramik 64

Mosbuild 2007 “The 13th Moscow International Building and Interior Exhibition Mosbuild’’ Trade Fair was held in Moscow / Russian Federation from April 3 to April 6, 2007. In the Expocentr at Krasnaya Presnya exhibition area of the trade fair held in two separate exhibition areas; Building Materials, Sanitary Ware and Bathroom Equipment, Ceramic Tile, Natural Stone and Marble, Ceramics Industry and Technologies, and HVAC Equipment were exhibited. At Crocus Expo Exhibition area, on the other hand; Interior Design, Floor Tiles, Decorative Home Textiles and Wall Coverings, and Glass and Exterior Systems were on display. Russian Federation, Spain, Italy, People’s Republic of China, Poland, England, Germany, Turkey, Portugal, Ukraine, Czech Republic and Finland participated in the Mosbuild 2007 Trade Fair where over 1500 participants were in attendance in ceramic tile and sanitary ware sectors. Intense participation of firms from People’s Republic of China in addition to Russian Federation, Spain, Italy and Germany came to attention in the said fair. The largest participation to the Mosbuild Trade Fair was from Italy this year by 65 firms. Spain ranked second with 49 firms; Germany was third with 10 firms and Turkey fourth with 7 firms. Participation was made for the tenth time with an info stand of 37 m2 in the trade fair in line with the decisions of Ceramics Industry Joint Promotion Collaboration Project Coordination Board as part of the activities of “Ceramic Promotion Group” comprising Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, Central Anatolian Exporters Union Secretariat General, Ceramics Federation and representatives of the private sector. At the stand, the floor of which was covered with floor tiles of Kale Seramik and where toilet bowls and basin sets of Ege Seramik, Serel Seramik and Çanakç›lar Seramik were exhibited, a Russian ceramic film emphasizing the production and present state of Turkish ceramic tile and sanitary ware, its historical richness, technological power and position in world trade and export potential was shown all day long during the fair. Türkiye Dergisi, promosyon malzemesi olarak 150 adet seramik top anahtarl›k, 500 adet nazar boncu¤u, 100 adet kalem ve 500 adet çanta ziyaretçilere da¤›t›ld›. Stand› ziyaret eden firmalara lokum ve antep f›st›¤›n›n yan› s›ra Türk Kahvesi ve çay ikram edildi. Stand› ziyaret eden firmalar›n büyük bir ço¤unlu¤u Türk seramik firmalar› hakk›nda detayl› bilgi istemifllerdir. Bu firmalara, katalog ve broflürler verilerek firmalarla do¤rudan ba¤lant› kurabilecekleri ifade edilmifl olup, fuara kendi standlar› ile kat›lan firmalar› ziyaret etmeleri sa¤land›. Seramik Tan›t›m Grubu’nun stand›n› fuar süresince yaklafl›k 70 profesyonel ziyaretçi ziyaret etti. T.C. Moskova Büyükelçili¤i Ticaret Bafl Müflaviri say›n Bahri Can Cal›c›o¤lu ve Ticaret Müflaviri Levent Akp›nar da stand› fuar›n ikinci günü ziyaret etti. Mosbuild 2007 Fuar›’na seramik sektöründe faaliyet gösteren Çanakkale Seramik, Eczac›bafl› Vitra, Hitit Seramik, Termal Seramik, ECA-Serel, Ece Banyo, Çanakç›lar Seramik’ten oluflan 7 firma kat›ld›. Dünya seramik kaplama malzemeleri tüketiminde, 2005 y›l› verilerine göre 10. s›rada yer alan Rusya, 2005 y›l›nda 35 milyon m2si ithal edilmek sureti ile, 131 milyon m2 tüketim gerçeklefltirmifltir. ‹thalatta ise 8. s›rada yer almakta olan ülke, 2005 y›l›nda 12 milyon m2 Belarus’tan, 8 milyon m2 ‹spanya’dan (‹spanya’n›n en çok ihracat yapt›¤› 11.inci ülkedir), 5 milyon m2 ‹talya’dan (‹talya’n›n en çok ihracat yapt›¤› 16. ülkedir) ve 7 milyon m2 Çin’den ithalat gerçeklefltirmifltir. Görüldü¤ü üzere Rusya’n›n yerli üretimi 2005 y›l›nda 100 milyon m2 civar›nda gerçekleflmifltir. D›fl Ticaret Müsteflarl›¤› verilerine göre, 2006 y›l›nda Türk firmalar› Rusya’ya 1.25 milyon m2 seramik kaplama malzemeleri ihracat› gerçeklefltirmifltir. Her geçen gün büyüyen Rus inflaat sektörü ve geliflen seramik pazar› düflünüldü¤ünde; gelecek y›llarda da söz konusu fuara Seramik Tan›t›m Grubu olarak kat›l›m gerçeklefltirilmesinde hatta fuar organizatöründen daha büyük bir stand alan› al›nabilmesi halinde daha büyük bir stand ile kat›l›m gerçeklefltirilmesinde yarar görülmektedir.

brochures prepared for promoting the Turkish ceramic sector and pamphlets sent by firms were distributed to stand visitors. A stand guest form in Russian was prepared to allow information to be taken from stand guests and they filled these forms for requests of firms. Also, 400 Turkish Ceramic Brochures and 150 Seramik Türkiye Magazines, as promotional materials; 150 ceramic globe key chains, 500 evil eye beads, 100 pens and 500 bags were distributed to visitors at the stand. Turkish coffee and tea were served to visiting firms alongside of Turkish delight and pistachios. A great majority of firms visiting the stand asked for detailed information on Turkish ceramic firms. These firms were handed out catalogs and brochures and were told that they could establish direct links with firms and they were guided towards visiting firms attending with their own stands. Approximately 25 professional visitors visited the stand of Turkish Promotion Group. Turkish Embassy Chief Consultant Mr. Bahri Can Cal›c›o¤lu and Trade Consultant Levent Akp›nar visited the stand on the second day of the trade fair. Seven firms comprising Çanakkale Seramik, Eczac›bafl› Vitra, Hitit Seramik, Termal Seramik, ECA-Serel, Ece Banyo and Çanakç›lar Seramik operating in the ceramic sector participated in the Mosbuild 2007 Trade Fair. Russia, which ranks 10th according to 2005 data in consumption of world ceramic tile consumed 131 million m2 in total with imports of 35 million m2 in 2005. The country, which ranks 8th in imports, has imported 12 million m2 from Belarus, 8 million m2 from Spain (11th country Spain exports to by volume), 5 million m2 from Italy (16th country Italy exports to by volume) and 7 million m2 from China. As observed, the local production of Russia was 100 million m2 in 2005. According to data of Undersecreatiat of Foreign Trade; in 2006, Turkish firms exported 1.25 million m2 ceramic tiles to Russia in 2006. Considering the ever-growing Russian construction sector and its progressive ceramics market, there is benefit in participating in this trade fair with a larger stand if a larger stand space may be obtained from trade organized and participation is made as Ceramic Promotion Group in the said fair in the upcoming years.

“Coverings 2007’’ (21th Annual Coverings The Ultimate Tile & Stone Experience) 17-20 Nisan 2007 tarihleri aras›nda Chicago / A.B.D.’de düzenlendi. National Trade Productions taraf›ndan organize edilen fuara, Arjantin, Avustralya, Brezilya, Kanada, Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti, Kolombiya, Dominik Cumhuriyeti, Ekvator, M›s›r, El Salvador, Fransa, Almanya, Yunanistan, Hong Kong, Hindistan, ‹srail, ‹talya, Japonya, Ürdün, Kore, Malezya, Meksika, Hollanda, Umman, Pakistan, Filistin, Peru, Filipinler, Portekiz, Singapur, ‹spanya, Sri Lanka, Tayvan, Tayland, Tunus, Türkiye, Birleflik Arap Emirlikleri, ‹ngiltere ve A.B.D.’li firmalar kat›l›m gerçeklefltirdi. Firms from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, People’s Republic of China, Columbia, Dominican Republic, Equador, Egypt, El Salvador, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Holland, Oman, Pakistan, Philistine, Peru, The Philippines, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, England and USA participated in the trade fair organized by National Trade Productions. The largest participation from countries other than USA was from Italy. Firms from People’s Republic of China ranked second; with Spain, Brazil and Turkey next in line. In line with Ceramic Sector Joint Promotion Collaboration Project Coordination Board decisions; participation was made for the ninth time in Coverings Fair as part of activities of the “Ceramics Promotion Group” comprising Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, Central Anatolian Exporters Union General Secretariat, Ceramics Federation and the representatives of the private sector. Almost 600 professional visitors attended the installed 1200 feet2 info stand during the fair. Promotion materials of Turkish firms, which sent catalogs, brochures and CDs for display, were also distributed to visitors, depending on their sectors at the stand where also 350 Turkish ceramic brochures, 150 Seramik Türkiye Magazine and 50 OAIB brochures were distributed. Turkish breakfast, snacks, fruits and wine were served at the stand where 300 ceramic globe key chains, 1500 evil eye beads and 500 bags were handed out to visitors as promotional materials.

Stand› ziyaret eden firmalar›n büyük bir ço¤unlu¤u Türk seramik firmalar› hakk›nda detayl› bilgi isterken bu firmalara, katalog ve broflürler verilerek, fuara kendi standlar› ile kat›lan firmalar›n standlar›n› da ziyaret etmeleri sa¤land›. Coverings 2007 Fuar›’na bu y›l, kaplama malzemeleri üreticisi 8 Türk firmas› kat›l›rken bu firmalar; Ege Seramik, Kale Seramik, Termal Seramik, Vitra–Eczac›bafl› Karo Seramik, Toprak Seramik,Graniser Seramik, Yurtbay Seramik, Bab Tile/Yüksel Seramik firmalar›ndan olufltu. 2008 senesinde Orlando’da düzenlenecek olan Coverings 2008 Fuar›’na kat›l›m için 17.000 feet2 lik alan rezerve edildi. A.B.D.’nin seramik kaplama malzemeleri ithalat› 2006 y›l›nda 316 milyon m2’ye ulaflm›flt›r. Dünya seramik kaplama malzemeleri tüketiminin %5’ni A.B.D. paylaflmaktad›r. A.B.D.’nin ithalat› her geçen gün artmaktad›r. Verilere göre, A.B.D. pazar›nda befl ülkenin hakimiyeti bulunmaktad›r. Bu ülkeler; pazar›n %24.2’sini oluflturan ‹talya, pazar›n %16.5’ini oluflturan Meksika, pazar›n %15.7’sini oluflturan Brezilya, pazar›n %12.7’sini oluflturan ‹spanya ve pazar›n %12.7’sini oluflturan Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti’dir. Türkiye A.B.D. pazar›n›n %3.6’s›n› oluflturmakta olup, A.B.D.’nin Türkiye’den 2006 y›l› ithalat› 9.2 milyon m2’dir.

All day long, everyday during the trade fair, a film in English describing Turkish ceramic tile production, its present status, historical richness, technological power and position in world trade and its export potential was shown. While a great majority of firms visiting the stand asked for detailed information on Turkish ceramic firms, these firms were handed out catalogs and brochures directing them to the stands of the firms participating in the show with their own stands. This year, 8 Turkish tile manufacturers participated in Coverings 2007 Trade Fair, comprising Ege Seramik, Kale Seramik, Termal Seramik, Vitra–Eczac›bafl› Karo Seramik, Toprak Seramik, Graniser Seramik, Yurtbay Seramik and Bab Tile/Yüksel Seramik. A space of 17.000 feet2 was reserved at Coverings 2008 which will be held in 2008 in Orlando. USA’s imports of ceramic tile reached 316 million m2 in 2006. USA accounts for 5 % of the world’s ceramics tile consumption, with USA’s imports increasing everyday. According to data, five countries are dominant in the US market. These are Italy with 24.2 % market share, Mexico with 16.5, Brazil with 15.7, Spain with 12.7 and People’s Republic of China with a market share of 12.7 %. Turkey has 3.6 % of the US market, with USA’s imports from Turkey in 2006 being 9.2 million m2. 67
